Fri 28th is a public holiday in CZ so worth checking out - nothing showing on the CD Nostalgie site yet. That weekend is also end of season for the weekend diesel excursions from Prague.

Both narrow gauge railways (Molli and the line on Rügen) on the german baltic cost still run their intensive summer timetable until the 31st of October using steam locomotives in regular service.

Same goes for the Harz network and lines in Saxony.

Bear in mind that either 31 Oct or 1 Nov - depending on the Land - are public holidays in Germany, and 1 Nov in various other countries.
