One or two possibly unusual shots of the steam special that runs up and down the Settle Carlisle on a Sunday as it passes over Ribblehead.
First the northbound working caught from half way up Whernside.

Then on the way back I got a couple more conventional shots from the Station Inn beer garden as I waited for the DalesRail train back to Preston.
My favourites are definitely the ones from up the hill, it really was good to be able to watch the train cutting through the landscape from such a high vantage point.
