What Reading services are booked for 450s these days? I know pre-COVID they used to cycle every 3 hours or so with 458s.

Is it not possible to answer that by looking back at five days of RTT and observing whether there are any trains which routinely have 8 coaches?

0608, 0939, 1039, 1109, 1309, 1409, 1439, 1639, 1739, 1810, 2009, 2112, 2140 from Reading to London Waterloo look solid 8-car operation through last week to me.

450s are used for about 40% of services on Mon-Fri, although I wouldn't be surprised if that increases as more 707s move to SE and 458s are moved to fill the gaps.

Monday to Friday it's 3 pairs of 450s plus 4 pairs of 458s. Mid evening onwards the 450s get replaced by 458s off other services.

Saturdays seem to generally be 100% 458, while Sundays tend to have one pair of 450s, with the rest being 458s.

There's a 8 car 455 on the reading route today too, to throw a curveball in there
Indeed there is. Replaced a 458 diagram I think. A couple of weeks ago there was a pair of 707s on the Reading - first time I've seen that in a while.
