A couple of off-topic posts regarding route registrations have been removed. This is not the place to be asking such questions. This thread is for fleet updates only - ie, repaints, vehicle transfers etc., as the thread title suggests.

Any queries regarding Bee Network routes, allocation of franchises etc. should be posted here:

Apparently Heywood sub-depot is staying open until Christmas (at least). Bury routes 163, 471, 472/474 will work out of there.

Regarding a previous comment I'd be surprised and slightly worried if deckers made an appearance on 362s as due to a low bridge in Coppull the route has to be single decks.

Will there be a fixed allocation to the depot (one presumes Streetdecks) or will they Interwork to rotate them?

I was trying to work out the initial fleet for the Go NW operations in Wigan and Bolton. PVR for each depot has been previously reported at 74 (Wigan) and 192 (Bolton) which suggests a total fleet of around 300 including spares. I have the following as heading for Wigan or Bolton but please correct me where I am wrong

Double deck
50 x ADL Enviro City EV (new - Go NW fleetnumbers 2001-2050)
8 x ADL Enviro 400 (3111-18 - ex London)
20 x Volvo B9TL / Wright Gemini (ex London - 3271-90)
2 x Volvo B5TL / Wright Gemini (ex Go NE 3301-02)
8 x Volvo B7TL / Wright Gemini (ex East Yorkshire 3351-58)
25 x Volvo B5LH / Wright Streetdeck (ex First 39237-61)
101 x Volvo B5LH / Wright Streetdeck (ex Rotala)
13 x Scania / Omnicity (ex RATP London 3601-13)

Single deck & minibus
21 x Mercedes Benz / Citaro (ex Rotala)
9 x Mercedes Benz / Citaro (ex Go NE 6224 -32)
10 x Enviro 200 (ex Rotala)
8 x Enviro 200 (ex London - 4023 - 30)
1 x Enviro 200 (5101)
2 x Volvo B7RLE / Wright Eclipse (ex Xelabus 6177-78)
1 x Volvo B7RLE / Wright Eclipse (ex Rotala)
3 x Optare Solo (ex Go NE 5053-55)
1 x Optare Solo (ex Rotala)

Total 283, so I must have missed something.
Couple of observations:
Evosetis 3051-3 for vantage spares
E400 3107-9 have been repainted
E200 4020-2 have been repainted
Loans in from other Go Ahead ops include (so far)
L2773/6/7/8/81-84 E200MMC Swindon
L5488/91/5/6/8 E200MMC North East
L4561/2/5/7/8 E200 ex First(?)

Only 6224-9 are planned Bee Citaros from north west as far as I’m aware.

Also not sure 3351-8 are included as they were only brought in for 163s and will be too old. Believe 3351 has already been withdrawn. Could be wrong though.

BN updates

Streetdecks 40749/92 both returned from paint over the weekend, with both now lettered and returned to traffic.

40781 is progressing and will be the last in-house repaint under Rotala stewardship.

Streetlamp 20184 (ex Preston) was destickered and reliveried as Diamond today also, this one will be used to cover for the E200MMCs on order for the new Network.

Bolton Garage is still in the process of being emptied, a very eery feeling but a sense of optimism as change is really quite close now...

I would question L4561/2/5/7/8 as these have had red panels added to their First Livery, and some have been used on Metrolink Replacement work from Queens Road. I was led to believe that a large chunk of Enviro E200MMCs were coming from Go South Coast's Morebus operation as they had been made redundant by replacements and that all this batch would form the majority of the single deck allocation at Wigan. As yet no sign of them, unless the loans are to cover these being repainted into Bee Network Livery. They have been replaced at Bournemouth by E400MMCs but these are only just being delivered. Whether that still happens, or another source of saloons is tapped, who knows?

Funny you should mention this, as I’d just seen a couple of photos of L4567 (YX67 LLG) in this state. For those who haven’t seen it, here are a couple of links to Flickr (not my photos):

Has anyone got a latest list of vehicles new at Go North West for the Bee Network. I know some of the Swindon E200MMCs have arrived today in Manchester until December.

Are the morebus E200MMCs off the M1 & M2 still due?

They are now going to Bolton & Wigan Depots. Why they have painted them red is anyone's guess.

Also I understand vehicle codes have been introduced for depots as follows:-

Bolton B
Wigan W

Whether Queens road, which the company calls Cheetham, and Heywood will follow remains to be seen. Heywood may become a sub depot of Bolton rather than Cheetham, presumably.

3108 SN14 TUJ is also allocated to Wigan and given the W depot code. It makes sense to move ADL E400s and ADL E200s to Wigan as staff don't need training on them.

They were painted red by whoever they were purchased from, not Go NorthWest. Presumably, they'll come to Bolton for painting in due course.

Its unlikely they will get painted any further as they are on lease, pending delivery of newer buses, but operating scruffy unpainted vehicles won't look very good on day one.

I'd expect they will get Bee Network stickers, as with the Go South Coast (Swindon & Morebus) & Go North East E200MMC's which have arrived....

One photo shows two coloured circles. Orange and Green on the window. One for area of operations and then the other for depot. It was a H for Heywood and B for Bolton on which would match with some the current Heywood work. Interesting times! Queens Road is a Q

I'm not overly sure they are leased and as you say, they look scruffy as sin, so I'd expect a repaint to "keep up appearances" at the very least...

That any buses are already in the new livery before day one is, in organisational terms, very impressive. And should be seen as so.

They clearly want to make an impression from day one. But in must scenarios like this, the best you'd expect is the buses to be debranded and a new sticker quickly applied overnight.

Think I read the stickers as orange where they are currently stored and green the depot they are allocated to.

I've seen on another site that they are short term loans from an intermediary, they will be replaced by internal stock from within the GoAhead Group when it becomes available.

This is were they are suggested as temporary additions:-

The first two bee Network ADL Enviro 200MMC buses, SK73CPE/F, have arrived for Go North West

Also you've missed another ADL Enviro 400, Y7THG, which i guess will be in the 3119? ex British Bus Tours

Forgot about Y7THG - presumably will need converting to single door first.
