Do TFL Buses in out London, still take cash payments,? I am thinking of the 111 from Hampton Railway Station to Hampton Court palace, I have Kiwi friends visiting and they won't have oysters, not sure if they have contactless bank cards.

Thank you.

No they don't.

They will each need either an Oyster, a contactless card or a paper travelcard (for any zone

You can get a One Day Bus & Tram pass from an Oyster Ticket Stop for £5.

You can get a One Day Bus & Tram pass from an Oyster Ticket Stop for £5.

Or from any Tube station, if you're near one.

Strongly recommend that non-UK CPCs aren't used; if they are accepted on the bus, there's a pretty hefty hit in terms of exchange rate and fees...

The £5 bus pass can also be bought from any National Rail booking office if there are any around where/when they wish to travel, the origin is any station in the zones and the destination is "London Bus&Tram" (or the snappy code H811).

If your Kiwi friends are over for a few days, then they ought to get Oysters on arrival. There's a £5 deposit, but it's refundable.
