Checking TfL's single fare finder between Forest Hill and Embankment, it claims the cash fare is £4.70 single

However, despite being part of the London Overground network since 2010, stations south of New Cross Gate have still sold the more expensive cash tickets which include a NR/TfL transfer.

BRFares.com doesn't have the £4.70 fare, instead the cheapest being a SDS at £7.

That's a TfL only fare, isn't it, presumably by default assuming changes at Canada Water and Waterloo/Westminster? It is available up to and including West Croydon.

If they weren't the case before, perhaps they have fixed it now.

Yes, it's the TfL only cash fare.

Until the TfL site changed recently, the £4.70 fare still wasn't showing on the fare finder with just the Oyster PAYG prices.
