From RTT it's difficult to follow events yesterday on the Marches with the track defect between Church Stretton and Craven Arms. With the Marches expected to be closed until end of service tomorrow unlikely to see any Mk4 sets for the duration of the closure.
A logistical issue too for stabling as all 7 sets are north of the block. 2 sets ended last night in Shrewsbury. Crewe is already full so I believe at least one will head to Crewe ETD, the other potentially to Holyhead for stabling.
Southbound was closed from about 1400, but northbound kept running till about 1500 and then reopened for the early evening before finally closing.
Several Mk4s got though northbound in this window, but none running today.
The NRE advice is pretty vague as to what the problem is and when it will be fixed, as they are still inspecting the track.
Meanwhile it's 197s everywhere with buses Shrewsbury-Hereford/Llandrindod.
