The last time I asked, the DfT had firm plans to put all the Welsh 158 units into Northern. GWR (or any other DfT TOC) were not going to get a look in.

Was definitely 367 as I saw it leaving Cdf . Couldn't say which the other one was

Very sad
320, 323, 367 were the original 8 Arriva had from December 2006 to May 2019 so sad to see those go.
And indeed Hornby made a model of it in Arriva livery.

Barry is used for overnight stabiling
Both are back out on service on the valleys, the first 'non active travel' 153s in service for several days.

You did say they need 13 diagrams in May
Keeping 323 & 369 until 568 & 572 are out gives them 13 153s
They seem to be both out as single units covering the Caerphilly-Penarth-Coryton diagrams.
Which is better than the times recently where they've just had some of those diagrams uncovered due to a shortage of workable trains.
Does anyone know if the problem is that the 150s are failing, or if it's the 231s or 756s and they've been pinching 150s to fill in elsewhere?
I've seen a few 150s apparantly taken off the Caerphilly/Coryton services at Central recently, which suggests that they might have been sent onto other services rather than having failed.

Interesting "CY". Presume the ERTMS would be isolated rather than stripped out then, if it happens.

They really need to sort out the active travel numbers for RTT
Strangely they do show when attached to a 150 or 158 but when they're on their own don't show at all.

Yes, AT03 is on the Newport - Ebbw today but just shows as 2 coaches!
Yes when they're by themselves that happens.
A random example of when ones coupled another unit on: https://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/service/gb-nr:W20364/2025-04-16/detailed#allox_id=1 where it shows the 158+AT unit when click on details but loses the graphics completely.

Lots of 153s and at least one 150 at Landore today when i passed on the way into Swansea. It used to be all 175s and I think some MK4 carriages now its turned into Sprinter City!
Also there was a 150 sat at Platform 1 for the HOWL and also the early evening Fishguard (1726 from Swansea) was also formed of a 150 today. No sign of any 153s or 158s at Swansea, all 197s and 150s.

And next year it’ll just be 197s, and the odd 153
