Hello all.

The Thameslink website states that on Thursday 28th July they will be operating a Sunday service, as a result of the strike action the previous day Wednesday 27th July.

This got me thinking - Thursday 28th is a normal working day. Given that they are operating a Sunday service on this day, are Monday-Friday ticket restrictions (e.g Network Railcard discounted tickets not valid before 10am) enforceable or not?

I can't see any information to suggest one way or the other on their website - hence any thoughts / clarification welcomed.

Thanks.

I believe it is like between Christmas and the new year where they run a reduced service on non public holiday days but still have the usual restrictions.
