I haven't watched this yet as it's due to be on Talking Pictures at 6am tomorrow. A 1955 comedy-thriller 'B' picture which according to Horton's Guide, apart from mostly taking place on a train, includes quite a bit of footage of trains on the west coast main line.

I recorded and watched that a few days ago, it was quite good. A number of rail scenes. I think there is more info on Wiki and other film websites.
