Afternoon All,

I am, as you may know, slowly rebuilding my Fotopic photosite on Flickr and the latest additions are a few pictures from Germany in 2003. Being steam railways, I felt that the Preservation and Heritage forum was a better place to post this rather than the International Transport forum.

Lots more still to do, of course, but anybody interested in the ones I have done will find them in the 'Stop Press! collection in the Set dated 26th September :

This is the collection where all the new pictures go for the first month or so; they are, however, also in the 'European Railways' collection : http://www.flickr.com/photos/train-pix/collections/72157626340231970/

Hope that they are (still!) of interest.

I have also done Schwebebahn (several times), Rügen & Harz railways. Toward the southern end of the Harz railway, near Nordhausen, there are the remains of the V2 rocket factory from WWII. The Harz railway also shares the southern tip with a tram train from Nordhausen
