We stay on East Prescot Rd, but cross it to head west from the Thomas Lane stop. There, we board the 0900 journey on Arriva Merseyside service 10A from which we alight at Liverpool ONE Bus Station at 0942 on Thursday.

We take the 1059 Arriva Merseyside service 500 to Toxteth, Brunswick Station arriving at 1123 on Thursday morning.

Entering the station, we take 2S22, the 1134 Merseyrail service, alighting at Southport at 1225 on Thursday.

We take the 1236 Northern service to Burscough Bridge arriving at 1249 on Thursday afternoon.

We'll take 4 minutes to walk the 0.2 mile to the bus stop at the Burcough Bridge itself, and there board Preston Bus the 1315 service 313, alighting at Skelmersdale (Asda) at 1350 on Thursday.

I don't recollect us using Preston Bus since I've been playing...

We have briefly, they run some services in Fleetwood/Blackpool and around the Preston suburbs.

We're just too far away to walk to the town centre to connect with other services so we'll wait for the 1420 Preston Bus service 312 to Skelmersdale (Concourse), arriving there at 1423 on Thursday afternoon.

I believe that's the same service we've just alighted off, if I've read the timetable correctly.

According to bustimes and the operator's website, the 1420 off Asda is a 313 (half-hourly). The 1428 off Concourse is 312 hourly.
It may be the same vehicle but no sign that it has to be...

We walk to the Cleckheaton Rd / Furnace Rd bus stop (what looks to be a 5 minute walk), where we board the 2230 service 268, alighting at Dewsbury & District Hospital (Fox View, stop B) at 2300 on Thursday.

Next we take the 2321 Arriva Yorkshire service 268 to Cleckheaton Bus Station arriving there at 2340 on Thursday.

We leave on First Halifax, Calder Valley & Huddersfield service 310 at 0800, and alight at Holmfirth Bus Station at 0829 on Friday.

We then wait for the 09:18 Stotts Coaches 335 which takes us to Slaithwaite, Carr Lane, dropping us off at 09:50 on Friday

We take 5 minutes to walk the 0.2 mile to the station, where we board 2M66, TransPennine Express's 1000 service. We alight at Manchester Piccadilly at 1037 on Friday.

We then take the 3-4 min walk through Piccadilly station to Platform 13, just making the 1042 East Midlands Railway service to Peterborough, Arriving at 1341 on Friday afternoon.


I think 5 mins is an easily do-able connection from the higher numbered platforms at Piccadilly to P13, but I'm unsure of this threads time restrictions for specific stations. Let me know if this is too short of a timeframe, I've done similar changes multiple times at Piccadilly and took well under 5 mins.
