We then has a nice wait for the First Hampshire 28A to Warsash Clock Tower, leaving at 1716, to arrive at 1733.
....on Saturday afternoon.

Taking the 2-minute short walk to the Warsash Village bus stop, we next board the 1819 First in Hampshire service 4A to Fareham bus station that arrives there on Saturday afternoon
what time do we get to fareham bus station?
1845.
After some research it seems that there is a one minute connection from bus station to railway station...
Therefore I shall actually wait an hour, getting to Trowbridge at 2115 on a Saturday evening
We then take the 20:32 FGW service to Portsmouth Harbour getting there at 23:54 on Sunday Evening.
Correct me if I am wrong, I believe this to be the first visit of the game to the IoW, as in the previous incarnation of the game, we were not allowed to cross The Solent?
You beat me to this, but mine would have said an arrival time of 2358 (checked also with NRE)
It comes of using the working timetable rather than the public one. Not significant in this case, but there's at least two recent moves that have breached the minimum connecting time as a result. One of them by me - partly to see if anyone noticed. They didn't.
Quite an interesting point you have raised with the WTT and the public one.
Incidentally, I wonder just what will now constitute the geographical boundaries of this new quiz, since we have already set a precedent for a ferry journey to the Isle of Wight which enables quite a number of both train and bus journeys. Will any of the following now be similarly acceptable by use of a ferry:-
Northern Ireland
Isle of Man
The Western Isles....both inner and outer
Orkney
