That was a fluke - I just used RTT...

With a minimum connection time of 8 minutes, we watch the 0803 service depart, and instead await TransPennine Express's 0905 service 1U31 towards Scarborough. We alight at Seamer at 0946 on Saturday.

It appears that we cannot cross the River Holme in this vicinity, so our only option, it being a Sunday, is to board a further First HCV&H service 310.
Wanting to see some more of the local scenery, and possibly partaking of some Summer Wine, we board at 1227 (continuing heading away from Huddersfield, in the knowledge that our next option may well be a further journey on the 310), and alight at Hepworth (Dean Br La / Butt La) at 1246 on Sunday.

Noting that we are at a terminus, so the five minute minimum connection time not applying if the same return service is used which in this case is four minutes, we next board the 1250 First Halifax, Calder Valley & Huddersfield Holme Valley Connect service 310 to Lockwood (Bridge Street Waterside) that arrives there at 1321 on Sunday afternoon.

Rules

  • You should use the first available service to reach your destination after allowing for the minimum interchange time.
    • An exception to this applies where the following service is formed of the same exact vehicle as the preceding service (applicable all day).
This is the extract of the quiz rules that was referred to in the posting above.

We walk to the railway station (1 minute) where, looking for somewhere that doesn't repeat recent visits, we wait for Northern's 2L20, the 2108 service towards Leeds. This takes us to Castleford, where we arrive at 2143 on Sunday.

This appears to be right by the Halfway tram stop, so let's saunter to the tram platform and depart at 0815 on Sheffield SuperTram Blue route, from which we alight at Hillsborough tram stop at 0908 on Monday.
