My fault for not wondering why bustimes.org only showed the next two service days as a Sunday and a Monday only...post struck-through.

Incidentally, when we last stayed at the Queens Hotel in Eastbourne, the big Victorian edifice overlooking the pier, I am sure there was a regular Brighton and Hove service 12 from the pier to Brighton. The 99 bus from Hastings terminated on the other side of the road, next to our hotel.

In fairness Paul, if you are willing, we could in theory take the ten minute/0.4 mile walk from Eastbourne Pier to Cornfield Road and take the 12X which operates weekdays to Brighton, and there is a 0950 departure arriving at Paston Place at 1100? Should you wish to re-instate your move with this aforementioned edit?
