Timetables

HI all,
Are there any websites that specialise in rail timetables - I had a quick look on Google but didn't see much. Or are there sites that have a section for such things. My collection is quite small at the moment but growing slowly. If there isn't much do you think there would be much call for such a site?

There are specialist railway book sellers, some with webites, that sell old timetables. They also regularly appear on eBay - search WTT or Working Timetable.

I doubt there would be any call for a dedicated website as they don't seem to be that popular. I built up a reasonable collection
a few years ago when postage was cheaper and WTTs were usually going for 99p - £1.99 and I was often the only bidder.

If you're looking to build your collection then preserved railways often have them. Bo'ness has hundreds, but probably not that convenient for you if you live in Devon.

Interesting info, thanks for sharing as I do visit family that part of Scotland. I'll give them a look next time I'm up there, never even realized before. D'oh!.

I get my batch of WTT's and public NRT's from British Rail Books. Has a few rail books on there and has dedicated timetable section for WTT's and public ones too, very good service
