66523/524/550 all reported as being at Willesden this morning - not sure which one of these though (or even if it was one of these...!)

Plenty of F/liner 66s to choose from :?

The other two (523/524) headed off c.8pm (guessing T'n'T) on this c.2,400 tonne engineers train to Tilehurst: http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/O13584/2017/07/19/advanced

...so I'm guessing (as I think chrisncal54 is alluding to) that these two would have already been attached to that train at c.5pm when you passed. Making 66550 the 'favourite' if what you saw was a single loco on its own.

Not sure what's resulted in the DRS/Freightliner combo. My guess is the DRS 66 is on-hire to Freightliner, but may be wrong...

you often see engineers workings using mixed companies locos think anything must go on network rail work think it was a freightliner driver involved in the crash involving the drs 66 not that long ago.

Also I think I was passed by an
88 heading north on a container train just north of Lancaster

Hi folks, can anyone tell me if any of the Chiltern 172/1s are destined to come up to Birmingham this evening? I can remember there being 2 of them on a 2010ish from Leamington to Birmingham last night.

There are indeed 2 currently allocated (103 & 104 with 168323) to work up tonight :- 1G55 18:47 MYB - BMO and 2U90 22:12 BMO - BAN return

(For reference last nights were 102 & 104)

202, 204 & 272 are currently working these.
Besides these, 156422 is allocated to 1K93 19:38 NRW - CBG and 170201 to 1K95 22:15 NRW -CBG
