I have my assessment next week (very nervous) I was wondering, with regards to the interview am I correct in thinking it will be the MMI on the assessment day (competency based questions) and if successful the DMI (what can you bring to the role etc) at a later date? Just trying to know exactly what to be prepared for. Thanks in advance.

Thanks, I've been doing some bourdon tests but I'll have to look at what else I need to do for the day, I'd half given up hope on getting called up for one!

Don’t think of it like that , the amount of people that apply is immense and they can only do so many people at a time ! You are in the top percent of people who have applied and to get thru to assessment day is amazing !!!! Stay positive do your best and see what happens, they wouldn’t pay for testing if there wasn’t any more jobs

Advert said Talent pool for 2022 but some people have already been given a training course start date.

Very true, thanks. I’ll give it my best shot for sure.
I currently am a tram driver so I’ve passed psychometrics before but this is another level from what I can tell.

I’ll get some practice in and do my best to have a good nights sleep the night before.

Hi all,

I passed the assessment day yesterday and I'm waiting to hear back from TPE regarding the results of the MMI. Just wondering from others who have been successful what the timescale is between assessment day / DMI / medical to job offer?

I'm really not sure how I did in the MMI, but I wasn't asked any questions related to the SJE and only answered questions on four of my five situations- the assessor said she had covered enough without using the last situation! I've heard this could be a good sign, but i'll just have to wait and see.
