Hi all,

Starting a new job in the city and looking to save on the train fare. Is the Train Split app legit and accepted?

Saves about £5 per journey.

TIA

Hi, split ticketing is explicitly permitted according to the National Rail Conditions of Travel:https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/National Rail Conditions of Travel.pdf

14.2 Unless Condition 14.1 applies, you may use a combination of two or more Tickets
to make a journey provided that the train services you use Call at the station(s) where
you change from one Ticket to another.

Condition 14.1 isn't very specific, and I'm not sure if it's used in practice, but TrainSplit would not sell you a ticket it is not permitted to.
