I'm unsure, I saw it south of Bristol after the 150 would have detached - however RTT showed it cancelled at Cardiff and not stopping at Severn Tunnel. I'm not sure if the 150 was present for Newport - Bristol.

I am home-educated so I can do the school work whenever. Leamington is my local station so I have quite a few trips out of there, some local others not.

I have seen more trains than I care to count over the last couple of days, but the number of observations logged is low due to being social for once! I'm figuring out how to best post what I've seen but a lot of it will be from the moves I've made more than owt else.

Trust me when I say that if I had managed to log everything I saw in just the evening peak on the GEML on Thursday my phone's battery would have been rather dead after just that!

Bashes don't exactly show the difficult side of rail travel - never mind potential delays, I mean things like crush-loading, rude passengers and the likes!

I think I still prefer it to sitting in traffic despite the comparative difference in comfort, but it's not as fun as going exploring, especially not when the novelty wears off after using the same line every day for a few weeks

I do get that commuting is not much fun when it's the same services etc every day, after all my commute by bus is the same sort of thing.

Crushloading would annoy me though, so I'm glad I don't commute on the Central Line, I've seen what that's like at Stratford and its nasty! Mind you so is the virtually complete wall of people on the Shenfield Metro platform! hock:

That being said, me and Kite159 had a single 317/3 on a Finsbury Park to New Southgate leap the other day (1734 off Finsbury Park), was lucky we fought through to get on but then I had to literally reverse out of the space I'd found to get off. Fortunately a lot of other people were also getting off!

I suppose it depends where you're commuting. London commuting, while nice to have the frequency and things like triple sets, is not going to be my cup of tea. Commuting by rail would be rather more civilised up this way I should imagine!
