Where are the 66 plate Micleovers going now? They’d be well received on the Comet and could improve the frequency.
Gets more like wheel of fortune every day.I've been informed that Mango ADLs 326/327 have transferred from Derby to Langley Mill, and 328/329 have gone the other way. Not sure why as all four vehicles are exactly the same so it seems a bit pointless to randomly swap vehicles around
I personally would send them to Kinchbus as they have two microfleets of Citaros and Volvos, as well as the fact that Skylink Derby still needs three more branded buses, but nothings been confirmed yetWhere are the 66 plate Micleovers going now? The citatos will be going soon though, 904s mot runs out next week so I doubt it'll be getting renewed.I personally would send them to Kinchbus as they have two microfleets of Citaros and Volvos, as well as the fact that Skylink Derby still needs three more branded buses, but nothings been confirmed yet
Are they being replaced?Skylink won't be getting anything in my opinion the mangos work just fine and it'll be too costly to repaint busses into slylink for them to just be replaced soon, especially if they are going to be in the next batch to be rereplaced.
Maybe. The mileage on them for being 20 plates is quite high. Yesterday I saw 148 break down at ema. I know a few other vehicles have in the past few days so if they are replacing high breakdown services then that would be a smart one to go for.Are they being replaced?
It's a pure guess but it might be to balance the mileage if one pair have got a significantly higher mileage than the other. That's often the reason companies do swaps which otherwise appear pointlessI've been informed that Mango ADLs 326/327 have transferred from Derby to Langley Mill, and 328/329 have gone the other way. There isn't in the short term as far as I know. It would make more sense to brand three more ADLs up for it from the 101-106 batch. Even if they do get new buses in 2025 that's still a year away so they may as well brand them up in the meantimeEvoras would suit the Skylink Derby very well, but I'm sure some sort of replacement is in the pipeline.
They would need to be converted to the airport spec. As well the mangos have skylights and charging bars (109 might not) which passengers would appreciate. Plus the Mickleovers got taken off because they were unreliable, putting them on a heavy duty route would not be smart. There isn't in the short term as far as I know. Well, you could say the former Trentbarton Mickleover Enviros are already in TM Travel livery. But when people talk about replacement buses in 2025, will all the Red Arrow coaches last that long? Helper coach 73 still hasn't got a replacement wheelchair ramp...That said Interdeck coach 67 does have one Red Arrow seat base, in red. Just alongside the driver. Are the white E200s at TM Travel just on loan. The mickleovers may replace those as are euro 6 for Sheffield clean air zone.
I did notice on one of the coaches (84 if i remember) the disabled seat bottom which can covert the seat from disabled seat to one for additional passenger, had disappeared so i would assume thats the coach its been taken from. That said Interdeck coach 67 does have one Red Arrow seat base, in red. Just alongside the driver.
85 did seem to come back in service, although it has stopped tracking. Worryingly the service is running with a spare so it might be an insight to how its going to be for the next few days againwill all the Red Arrow coaches last that long?

This is correct 328 and 329 are in the yard at Medeow Road. I think this might be so they have 320 - 327 so it looks good in the books.I've been informed that Mango ADLs 326/327 have transferred from Derby to Langley Mill, and 328/329 have gone the other way. Maybe they will keep a couple of Mickleover Enviros and lose 328/329.This is correct 328 and 329 are in the yard at Medeow Road. I think this might be so they have 320 - 327 so it looks good in the books.
