I guessed right first! You didn't ask what species they were gizmogle:o

Anyway you both would make lousy detectives, you both failed to mention the damp patch on the floor.

he was standing on a block of ice, which subsequently melted.

No damp patch on the floor because what happens to the water after the ice has melted...?

However, you guessed right. Geoff dragged a large block of ice into the room before locking himself in. He stood on top of this so that he could tie the cable from the light fitting around his neck and then waited for the ice to melt.

Hahahaha, not really a trick question, but you have to think around it kind of.

A man is driving past a bus stop in his car. And at the bus stop are his best friend, an old lady having a heart attack, and the girl of his dreams.

You can offer to give one of them a lift, there is no bootspace, the car might as well be a tandem.

Who do you offer the lift to?

They're one person?

His best friend is the old lady having a heart attack, who is the girl of his dreams.

Oh, how sad:cry:

Well, considering the windows and doors were all locked and secured and the size of the ice block required to complete such a task, I suspect it will have turned into quite a mess, with a large damp patch on the floor.........

He gets his best friend to take the Old Lady to hospital while he stays with the girl of his dreams.

Or none of them as they are waiting at a bus stop and a bus will be there soon.

Lol, surely there isn't a right answer to this one. I'd give a lift to the old woman and run over the other two.

(They were 'cough' each other, anyway)

Alternatively,.......His best friend is a dog at the bus stop, the woman of his dreams is on a bus stop advertisement, in which case you'd still offer the old woman a lift!

Just to confirm, is this one spelled correctly? :?

And, Laseandre, if the word is in fact "Father", your assumption is wrong. In this day and age, couples who have a child are not necessarily married, especially in America, where they could even be siblings. <D

or alternatively he will not stop and give then a lift, since the nearby Central Pains parking warden would give him a ticket for stopping at a bus stop, instead of finding a space and paying £5.50 for the privilege of using it for two minutes.

No, that would be silk. Catut is made from Sheep intestines, which William has correctly answered.
