Glorious sunshine yesterday and did the Cumbrian Coast and Furness line. From Lancaster to Barrow, onto Carlisle and back on the WCML. Fantastic views of the sea and Lakeland hills. Had a break for a swim and picnic at St Bees and afternoon tea at Carlisle Cathedral. Impressed with some of the Northern conductors too. Lovely day out.
