Was that Bluestar?Back when Southampton still had night buses, they used to all start down at the Odeon/West Quay road which never had any buses during the day. The nearest stops being half a mile away at either the train station or town quay.
Yeah along with Unilink. Was that Bluestar?
A similar thing happens on route 5 Monday to Saturday according to the timetable with the 0045 from Newport and 0100 return starting/finishing at the Red Funnel terminal. Not a Night Bus only stop, but there is a stop at the Wightlink terminal at Fishbourne on the Isle of Wight. Its only services are Route 9 at 00.46 and 00.50.
Which is utterly pointless as it is less than a hundred yards from the regular stop. Or perhaps they think that those travelling at such times can’t walk/crawl such a long distance. And the bus probably has to back and fill several times to turn.A similar thing happens on route 5 Monday to Saturday according to the timetable with the 0045 from Newport and 0100 return starting/finishing at the Red Funnel terminal.
