Moving away from the thread about Bond St (!); wondered if stations were sponsored by firms to boost TFL income, what would be the best fit?
Waterloo obviously by a toilet manufacturer, maybe Russell Square by Vets4U, etc etc....

After you...!

It'd be obvious that West Ham and Watford would be sponsored by their football teams. After all, Arsenal has been sponsoring its nearest station since 1932! :D

Except that West Ham United no longer play anywhere near West Ham station.

A couple of years back Spurs wanted to follow Arsenal's lead and get White Hart Lane renamed. Seems that the idea was quietly dropped when they were told how much it would cost.

As the crow flies or as the supporter walks, West Ham Station is noticeably nearer to their new ground than it was to their old ground, although it isn't the nearest station to either.

There's also a high-quality walking route, along Greenway.

Tooting by any drug dealer
East Ham by Norfolk Pork Farmers
Heathrow by Javelin Manufacturers.... or Hitachi (or is that too cryptic)
Pimlico by some plumbers
Vauxhall by GM
Holborn by an Old Tobacco Company

(taken from a list of Underground stations on Wikipedia no idea of accuracy)

The British Cheese Marketing Board could sponsor Double Gloucester Road and Red Leicester Square
