Possibly the 16:36? No longer splits and runs complete to Brighton (there may be other examples which do split, though).

Was advertised (on the boards at Victoria) as going to Brighton & Preston Park. I think that the Southeastern trains mentioned up-thread are similarly misleading about the true final destinations, in order to direct passengers to the appropriate part of the train.

Everywhere except Clapham Junction where it had it down as Brighton & Brighton - to passengers confusion

SWT trains heading towards Weymouth in the evening, 10 car 444s splitting at Southampton with the front part running fast to Bournemouth (stops at Brockenhurst) and the rear part forming a stopper to Bournemouth.

Displayed at Winchester going to Weymouth & Pokesdown for Boscombe, displayed at Southampton Airport as Weymouth & Bournemouth

Not perhaps as confusing as the couple of trains that split at Haywards Heath, then again at Eastbourne (with the Hastings portion of course reversing at the same time). I feel quite sorry for the guard having to explain that one when leaving Victoria!

There was and may still be a weekday Brighton & Brighton service from Victoria. Train split at Haywards Heath, with half the train going to Brighton fast and the other half to Brighton slow.

At Clapham Junction this was always announced as the Brighton & Brighton service calling at.... That always sounded odd.

At Clapham Junction it was always advertised as the Brighton and Brighton on the boards and the automated announcement.

1B96 and 1B97 Fishguard boat trains, only trains to use Swansea district line and only trains not to call at Carmarthen, Pembrey and Port Talbot

1B96 doesn't call at Clarbeston Road either, although it has to stop further down at the signalbox for the single track electric key token. The times I've been on it, it never has anyway :D
