Hi,

I shall be travelling across London on the Underground as part of a larger National Rail Journey.

My orange National Rail tickets have the Maltese Cross symbol which I believe allows one journey on the Underground between two National Rail Terminals.

I shall be travelling on a tight schedule and I'm anxious that the Ticket Machine at the exit Underground station might not return the ticket, and this will then prevent on my onward journey.

Are my fears unfounded?

Completely you'll be fine, it's no different to using a paper travelcard on the underground
