Upgrading an Advance to Standard Premium on Avanti

Morning all, quick question as the thread title suggests… can’t find the answer on the Avanti website.

Holding an Advance standard class ticket (AWC+Connections) to Euston - is it valid for upgrading to Standard Premium on board / Seatfrog? Or is this restricted to flexible tickets only, and we’re stuck in Standard? No issue if so, price was too good to ignore - would just be nice if possible.

Upgrading on an advance is absolutely fine for both Standard Premium and Seatfrog

You can upgrade Advances absolutely. I've done it several times.
