Brought myself into Leeds thinking I could buy some revell paint and accessories from the Dungeons and Dragons type shop on Lands Lane - to find it doesn't exist anymore.

Is anyone aware of anywhere in Leeds city centre I could buy revell paints or plastic glue?

Leeds seems to be pretty poor when it comes to model shops which is surprising. There's a place called Millennium Models which is in Morley, and also this place on Crossgates Road. Otherwise it's probably a trip to Frizinghall Models or Monk Bar in York. The demise of Beatties and Modelzone in recent years has left a few gaps...

That was my thinking also!

I tried Modelshop on Crossgatws Road - only sell Humbrol paint!

Looks like it could be a trip to York tomorrow instead!

Another planet...
If you find yourself down Huddersfield way, there's a long-established model shop by the name of "Something Wicked This Way Comes" just behind McDonalds in the town centre. It's not the absolute best for railway stuff but isn't bad, and they do have a good range of paints etc., along with model cars (kits and RtR) and the "Games Workshop" type stuff. There used to be a great model shop near the Morrisons on Dewsbury Road in Wakefield but that bit the dust a few years ago. For paints Otley Modelsport (an R/C car specialist) used to be good but I've no idea if they're still in business.

Thank you both.

Found myself stuck for time today due to me stupidly using the bus.

I'm going to check out the shops in Otley and Morley online and phone them in the morning before I set off I think.

There's a Hobbycraft at Crown Point; never been in but heard that they do some stuff like that?
