I can't wait to see what fun I can have with Vista when my new PC Comes in "5-7 Working Days"
Don't you mean 5-7 WEEKS:?:

Anyway, vista will be good in the summer after SP1 (even better if Mackoy can recode BVE so it works!:D)

Not really the best, won't run BVE cos of an error in BVE's coding, you will struggle to open word docs with MS works. Apart from that, good specs.

I assume it has ethernet conections??

I think it has Ethernet Connections..... I know the proble with BVE 4 thats why I'm going to run a dual boot with XP I mean with a 320GB Harddrive it won't take up much!

Plus hopefully Microsoft Office 2007 will turn up later in the week and I will put that on it!!

Fail enough RE: BVE

Which version of office you getting? Personally I want Vista ultimate and Office 2007 Ultimate.

Was looking at the XPS 710 as a gaming rig earlier, option for 1.5 TB of storage! No-one will ever fill that!

Is that so? I paid £75 for Vista Home Premium (about $145) not long after the launch. Legal as well....

BVE doesnt work on Vista!

I was getting a PC similar to those specs but pulled out due to Vista and my XP disk is corrupt!

Splashing out a bit anyway, that computer must come out at around £500!

If you have you PC as a duel-boot machine, remember, you need to install Windows XP (or 2000) first, otherwise, Vista won't see it as a duel boot machine....

I challenge you to a duel.

But... I have a dual-boot machine so I will win. :thebirdm:
