Warley on the 27th

I am looking to travel from Alton to Birmingham International on Sunday 27th November for the Warley show but ASLEF have announced a strike on the 26th. Is there usually any residual disruption from ASLEF strikes, or should I be OK? I would normally have stayed in a Premier Inn the prior Saturday, but that hasn't been possible this year.
