When I saw that video of the Watford Junction Rugby route on youtube recently, I guess the route was shown in OpenBVE in the video and it looks absolutely great so far with the development and I really like it.

Is the route been made for BVE2 and BVE4 as well?

Just wanted to know that's all.

I'm looking forward to it.:)

There is BVE 2 and 4 version of it, I think I have it...
The old version is still available (Watford Junction to Milton Keynes) and that's for BVE2 only but to what Anthony Bowden Stated that the old route will still be available for now on until the new version from Watford Junction to Rugby is released for all versions including BVE2, BVE4 and OpenBVE.

Yeah, don't expect it too soon. I've, well we all have, been patiently waiting for Watford Junction to Rugby for quite some time, also Cross-City North since Cross-City South was released, a good few years ago (i think i was in the first year of secondary school when it first came out, i'm 18 now lol). I'm sure when it's ready it will be released, anyway.

The thing is, by the time it's released, there will already be routes more advanced than it. I don't mind waiting, but there aren't enough updates provided.

Also so have I. I have been waiting very patiently as well for Watford Junction to Rugby and when that's released we can give it a good blast at the route especially for some of the trains which are available right now which will make great use of it like the Class 390 Pendolino and the Class 321/3 for BVE4 and I guess the Class 350 Desiro as well that's still currently in W.I.P at the moment.

It's like when the Bakerloo Line Version 3 for BVE2 and BVE4 was in development back 4 years ago and we were very excited then and when that finally came out, we were over the top excited at that time then.;)

The Watford Junction to Rugby route started development 4 years ago and then 4 years later, it's still W.I.P and that is just amazing how much work Anthony Bowden has put into this and that is just great stuff he's done.;):)

At least XCN is now a realistic possibility because of the advancements in oBVE compared to BVE4.

The main limiting fact for Anthony was the long loading time and poor framerates in BVE4 but oBVE doesn't suffer from this.

Are you saying that the loading time on BVE4 is poor because when I use OpenBVE and load up the Northern Line route, it loads successfully but the main problem I have is that the framerate is slow. Is it because I have an older computer is that the situation?:|

Well, yes and no.
What I'm saying is: BVE4 works in a different way to openBVE, which means it is slower to load objects and therefore takes longer and is more crash prone.
Also, with Cross City North, it just couldn't cope with all the objects and detail...

Having an older computer is likely to mean things are slower - what are its specs?

Ah! Okay I see what you mean by that, it's like when I load up a route file on Network West Midlands for BVE 4 it does take a bit of time to load up because of the objects and detail that are fitted onto the route that slow the framerate so now I get to the point now so thanks anyway.

I always used to the slow framerates anyway it's still part of the route but the rest of the framerate on the whole journey of the route is fine and no problem at all.:)
