Good Evening.
Having read about the changes that have now seen the WMR 153s confined to Snow Hill/Hereford duties (3 pairs), I am interested in tracking them down on an upcoming trip to Birmingham.

Would anyone be able to provide the latest diagrams for those 153s please.

So, I’ve worked out that Hereford has a great mix of units with many 153s to Birmingham now. Thanks to all your replies - I’ve managed to work out some diagrams so I can go for a few trips on my next day off work.

Just to whet your appetite: here are 153365 and 153375 speeding through Longbridge on 1V30 the 15:50 Birmingham New Street to Hereford on Mon 03Jun19. I think 1-car units working a Class 1 passenger train is quite a hoot!

The double dogbox set usually works the 18:10 Moor Street to Whitlocks End and passengers tend to crowd into the 170 on the front, which means the dogboxes usually have seats on what can be quite a full service. However, today, it disgraced itself and broke down whilst on Platform 1 at Moor Street.

East Midlands Railway 153s Nos. 153310 AND 153326 have now joined the WMR fleet till Mid December, and both usually reside at Worcester at night. one works the 1450 New Street - Hereford with a WMR 153 (rest of days diagram feel free to add ) , while another works with the 170/5 and 153, making varied traction scenes.

As I have just found out on the 'East Midlands Railway Class 153 Units with West Midlands Trains' thread (https://www.railforums.co.uk/thread...s-153-units-with-west-midlands-trains.194519/), it does appear that they vary. For example, I've just heard that today 153310 (EMR) and 153326 (EMR) were on the following diagram today (albeit with some alterations due to a points failure):

Hi - does anyone know the diagrams for West Midlands Railway Class 153s from the December timetable change? Also, is there a triple 153 running around any more like there was towards the end of the last timetable?

As far as I'm aware, there are no scheduled 172s for New Street. On the Snow Hill line, the 21.18 Sundays Worcester Foregate Street to Birmingham Moor Street and the 22.51 Sundays Birmingham Moor Street to Worcester Shrub Hill are diagrammed for 2 x 170s.
