The 363 becoming the X63 was a change that happened a couple of years ago.

Half the Huddersfield-Bradford buses were X6 and half X63. All that's changed is that they are now all X63.
Yes I know. What I meant to say is that the 363 local stops in Huddersfield and Bradford are no longer served during the day.

That was supposed to be the change when the daytime services became X63. Though in reality what happened was one simple rule: if I'm on the bus all stops are served, if I'm at the stop, it isn't served!

The X63 used to have boarding/alighting restrictions at each end meaning local passengers were not carried, you couldn't get on after Low Moor into Bradford or after Fartown into Huddersfield but you could still get off at all stops and get on in the opposite directions.

Now since it replaced the X6, the X63 it has become non stop in those areas so for example if you live on Manchester Road in Bradford you can no longer go to Huddersfield.

Back in the day, it used to be easy to know which stops in West Yorkshire were served by limited stop services, as the flags had "Fastaway" branding. Now, the only way to find out is to look at the timetables which hopefully won't have been burned out by the local scallies...

I did notice that some buses on X63 have been given route branding, saw one in St. George's Square last week and it looked quite snazzy.
