What if the MML electrification went to Toton instead of Nottingham/Derby?

Wow, imagine if the wires continued from Market Harborough to Toton (‘West of Nottingham’) and not to Nottingham itself. Let alone Derby.

It wouldn’t release a single MML service, other than the fanciful Bedford-Leeds HS2 (no idea what platform that will lay over in - do they know something about Bedford’s layout that we don’t?)

There's already been talk of running one of the two slower MML services every hour to Toton instead of Nottingham or Derby, so if formed of a HS2 Classic Compatible (with electrification) it could do both things.
