What is the wage of a Customer Information Controller?

Does anyone know what the wage is like on average in a TOC for this position in Control? Thanks

I saw this role advertised with MTR/Crossrail and i applied but haven’t heard anything since. I’m sure I saw a similar position with Virgin and their salary was £31k

Salary - £34,533 per annum

About the role:

In Control our customers are important to us, as well as providing great customer service, during service disruption both planned and unplanned. We need to provide our operational teams and customers with up to the minute information about our train services; this includes sending messaging to the business via our mass communication systems and liaising with colleagues, stakeholders and external customers and suppliers. The Customer Information Controller role is pivotal to providing accurate information and assistance to our customers.

About you:

We are looking for an individual who is customer focused and possesses an excellent geographical knowledge of the Northern Rail Network, particularly on the Eastern area of the business. You must be able to remain calm under pressurised scenarios and be able to assist our customers professionally through Help Point call interaction; the calls may be very emotional or aggravated in nature.

You’ll be working with internal and external Northern customers. You need to possess excellent communication skills - both written and verbal including grammar, spelling and diction. You will need an excellent knowledge of the Passenger Information during Disruption processes and understand how Darwin feeds Customer Information Systems throughout the industry. You need to be a strong team player, whilst also having the ability to work under your own initiative. This post will be required to resource information from a variety of sources and therefore the ability to communicate professionally, assertively and is essential.

Knowledge of the Microsoft Office package including MS Word and Excel and the systems we use within Northern Control is essential. Previous public address experience or knowledge of Worldline and Ketech CIS systems is preferred but not essential.
