Thank you. I'll need to get a decent pair of smart trousers then. It's my first 'professional' job interview and I was hoping to make the best impression possible without forking out for a whole new suit.Dress smart for any interview - suit if you have one or shirt and tie, trousers if you don't (although you haven't specified if you're male or female). You're dressing to impress especially if it's a customer facing role!
I don't think too many people own a suit these days. Just look well presented preferably with a tie, ironed shirt & no jeans and that should do. Definitely don't slouch or chew gumGood luck!!
After a few years on the railway I doubt any of mine fit any more!![]()
I've been on approximately 5 interviews in my 38 years on the railway and never wore a suit. Then again its slightly easier when you are already internal. Only suits I've ever owned have only seen limited use at the odd wedding or Grand National. Didnt enjoy wearing them and never bother now.
