Yes, I would say so. Mr. Sunak was reportedly there this morning with the chief executive of Network Rail Andrew Haines and York Outer Conservative MP Julian Sturdy at the site which is on the York to Scarborough line. Haxby station not expected to be open until 2026 by which time a new Labour government will undoubtedly be in power.
