Impressive list - are these remaining to visit or visited (impressive either way)? I'll never get close to that many but you just need 2 more from the Premiership to complete the top 10 Premiership grounds for atmosphere:

1 Crystal Palace
2 Stoke City
3 Liverpool
4 Everton

That was from a Guardian / Telegraph article I read but can anyone embelish us with the top atmospheres at (current) Championship grounds?

My list is of grounds remaining to be done (ie, not yet visited). I've put the word remaining in bold, to clarify!

Well, I've done one, being The Valley. Visited quite a few times in the '50s, the last time Charlton lost to Huddersfield 2-8 I think it was. Ate Percy Dalton's salted peanuts on the terrace and caught the special London Transport bus service laid on for every home game. Nowadays I support any team playing Chelsea.

Done Huddersfield Towns ground a few years ago for a Resserves game. Also driven past Oldhams Boundary Park Stadium loads of time as I work nearby. Can anyone tell I'm not much of a football fan? :P

Done 41 league grounds so far (although these include Highfield Road, Ninian Park and Saltergate, and not the new grounds).

Don't see the appeal of visiting new grounds though for myself, too many lack character, just feeling like an Ikea flat pack stadium off the shelve and lack in atmosphere.

On 99 grounds including non-league games. Was very tempted with Chelmsford City today, regretting I didnt go now.

Cup games count for me, but if you've not done the current ground that's on the list to do ;)

I've been to only a few:

Anfield
St Andrews (Birmingham City)
St James Park (Exeter City)
Home Park (Plymouth Argyle)
Vicarage Road (Watford - not sure if it counts as was for Saracens Rugby)

I've also been to Plainmoor (Torquay) and Ninian Park.

To qualify for the 92 club, the old ground counts as long as the club didn't move more then two years ago.

But the 92 club seem a little up themselves, so I go by my own rules. As I said above, I'd rather go to a non-league ground with character then most of these new grounds.

Its a fun one this. For afew years in the late 90's I watched Bradford City and for 3 years was very regular until I suddenly stopped going. I clocked up afew grounds, not just for City games, but if they were on a long haul trip or it was a free saturday i would visit another ground.

Grounds I 'red-penned' were in this order.

Bradford
Barnsley
York
Sheffield Wednesday
Man City (old)
Carlisle
Rotherham (old)
Crewe
Hull (old)
Huddersfield
Bury
Portsmouth
Tranmere
Southend
Charlton
Oxford (old)
Blackburn
Scunthorpe
Wolves
Sheffield United
Leeds

also got 2 grounds that have since become Non-League
Stockport
Halifax (I also have visited as a non-league ground)

However in the last few years, i've started going again and added to the list.
Man Utd (olympics)
Newcastle (olympics)
Aston Villa
Morecambe

With my current total 25, though 4 have since moved to new grounds, so actually count is 21.

I also do the same in both verisons of Rugby. I cleared the Rugby League grounds in England and Wales, plus the Grounds used for Cup & Grand Finals, Magic Weekends and World Club Challenge Matches. Plus visited afew union and football grounds some Rugby League clubs have used for 'on the road' home games.

Though in the last couple of years, afew new clubs have joined, so there's afew winners out there, plus London Broncos now have a new home.

St Andrews (Birmingham City)
St James Park (Exeter City)
Home Park (Plymouth Argyle)
Vicarage Road (Watford - not sure if it counts as was for Saracens Rugby)

I've also been to Plainmoor (Torquay) and Ninian Park.

Rule I use is it counts for the sport i've watched played there. Example i've seen Rugby League played at Bloomfield Road and The Etihad, but not football, so they count as Rugby League Grounds visited, but not yet as Football Grounds visited.

Where as i've been to Huddersfield for both, so it counts for both.

LEAGUE ONE:
Barnsley, Bradford City, Chesterfield, Colchester United, Crewe Alexandra, Doncaster Rovers, Leyton Orient, Oldham Athletic, Peterborough United, Port Vale, Preston North End, Rochdale, Sheffield United, Walsall - 14/24

A fair few impressive lists there, mine isn't quite as long ....

In no particular order (those that I can remember anyway) ....

Scunthorpe United
Chelsea.
Leyton Orient
Hull City (Boothferry Park and KC Stadium)
Doncaster Rovers (Bell Vue and Keepmoat)
Barnsley
Sheffield Wednesday.
Leeds United

I was also due to go watch Sheffield United v Scunthorpe United very recently, but it was postponed

Honourable mentions to some non-league clubs now, namely Grimsby Town and Lincoln City.

I've also been to most of the non league clubs around here as well. However, the only 1 I haven't been to is Bottesford Town, which is probably the closest NL ground to me!

Used to travel away with Bradford when I was younger, but I barely watch them at all now I've moved down here. The problem with supporting a lower-league team is that the 92 club gets really difficult to do, it's always bloody changing. Some clubs have left the league (Halifax, Stockport) and some have gone completely (Scarborough).

In league order:
Chelsea
Manchester City (but only Maine Road)
Arsenal (Highbury and the Emirates)
Liverpool
Newcastle
Everton
Stoke City
Middlesbrough
Norwich
Bolton
Huddersfield
East Pudsey
Bradford City
Sheffield United
Port Vale
Oldham
Coventry City (but only Highfield Road)
Crewe
Wycombe Wanderers
Bury

Without trying I have been to 38 current league grounds (11 for games not involving the "home" team) and the former grounds of 14 current league teams).

Also been to 10 current grounds of teams no longer in the football league and something like 700 other non-league grounds - the exact number is lost as a result of several house moves and paperwork clear-outs since I stopped watching live football on a grand scale in the mid-1990s and took up refereeing instead :o

Around 10 years ago I'd been to 89, but it's down to 83 now as I haven't been to many of the new teams promoted from the conference in recent years.

Still to visit :
Chesterfield
Crawley
Wycombe
Burton
Newport
Stevenage
Dagenham
AFC Wimbledon (although I did go to the original Wimbledon's ground. Also not been to MK but would never go there, I'd rather finish on 91)

There are a lot of clubs that I've been to but they've since moved to a new Stadium, so I should probably visit them again. They include arsenal, Swansea, Cardiff, Doncaster, Shrewsbury, Northampton.

I've probably been to around 150 grounds in total, including non league, national, Scottish, and grounds that no longer exist.

What's it called? It's called Cumbernauld
My grounds visited:

Villa Park (I'm an Aston Villa fan)
The Hawthorns
Fellowes Park (Walsall's former ground across the road from Bescot)
Victoria Park (Stoke City's former ground)
Anfield
Firhill (Partick Thistle is my adopted Scottish team)
Easter Road
Parkhead
Murrayfield (to see Hearts v Barcelona in a pre-season friendly)
Hampden Park (to see various cup matches and never seen Queens Park play)

I would like to mention here that the football ground in Scotland I could never bring myself to set foot in is Ibrox, due to the undesirables that follow that particular team whatever they call themselves these days.

I have noticed that several posters have visited Villa Park. Don't forget to book a tour on non matchdays as you will see something from Villa's finest achievement i.e. the European Cup from 1982.

It could be argued that everytime Aston Villa have reached the final of the European Cup, they have gone on to win it, albeit that is the one and only time they have done so in their history :)

In peace

I've never quite made it to all 92. 89 was the highest I reached, before new grounds replaced the old. Now starting to get the missing ones in again.
Including old grounds, I've visited:
90/92 (missing Rotherham and Coventry)
41/42 Scottish league clubs (Airdrie)
11/12 Welsh Premier League clubs (Bala Town)
11/12 Irish League (Warrenpoint Town)

Need to work out where I currently stand, as far as current grounds goes.

Think my total is about 700 grounds at all levels, despite midweek hopping having pretty much gone out of the window when I stopped being single!

My ground tally is only one : and those two games were pre-season friendlies at Cambridge United's Abbey Stadium, Although I have been to see them at Wembley once as well.

Remember that Rugby is played in the Premiership, Football is played in the Premier League.

35/92 to go.

Of those attended, they have all been with Wolves, bar Old Trafford where I went to Man U vs Everton about 15 years ago.

Of the 35, I have been to 3 at their old grounds (Oxford, Rotherham, Coventry).

Another 7 I've been to both old and new grounds (Arsenal, Man City, Boro, Bolton, Derby, Stoke, Reading).

And finally a further 2 no longer in the football league, but they were when I went (Grimsby and Stockport).

Should be bagging Cardiff, Brighton and Bournemouth this year.

Best ground (other than Molineux, obv) - Emirates by a distance.

Worst Ground - the old Elm Park.

Being a Manchester City fan (and before you say it, have been since the dark days of 1999 when I was 8 and we beat Gillingham at Wembley!!), I've only been to grounds of Premier League clubs, or indeed clubs which have been relegated or promoted to or from the Championship in that period. Also, FA Cup and League Cup grounds too. All the grounds I've visited have been as a City supporter in the Away ends <D.

My list is as follows in current league position order (grounds visited):

Premier League
Chelsea
Manchester City (obviously)
Manchester United
Southampton
Tottenham
Arsenal
West Ham
Liverpool
Newcastle
Stoke
Aston Villa
Everton
Sunderland
Hull
QPR
West Brom
Crystal Palace
Burnley (planned for April 2015)
Leicester

Championship (previously in Premier League)
Middlesbrough
Norwich
Blackburn
Fulham
Wigan

Others (FA Cup, League Cup etc)
Sheffield Untied

Total: 25/92

For the record, Champions League:
Bayern Munich (Allianz Arena)
Borussia Dortmund (Westfalenstadion)
Barcelona (Camp Nou)
Real Madrid (Santiago Bernabéu)
Ajax (Amsterdam Arena)

Unless we get relegated anytime soon, which given our current situation is unlikely I’d say :p, this won’t increase too much other than more European and Cup games and those who are promoted.

Best ground: Other than the Etihad (which I honestly think for the overall experience/facilities etc is the best in the country), I'd agree with Bald Rick and say the Emirates, altough St James' Park (Newcastle) is a favourite of mine (even if those stairs are a killer!!!!).

Worst ground: Neck and neck between Goodison Park (Everton) and Selhurst Park (Crystal Palace). Both have cracking atmospheres, but as football stadiums they are horrendous. How they get licences from the FA/UEFA is beyond me!!

Best atmosphere: Selhurst Park (Crystal Palace)

Worst atmosphere: DW Stadium (Wigan)

My current total is 384. A lot of the grounds on my list are pretty obscure non league one. But all tell a story!! Hope the list formats OK as I copied it from a spreadsheet. And I couldn't be bothered to type it all out!!

CARDIFF ARMS PARK...
...HUISH PARK YEOVIL

Due to the NPL grounds, that's the list I've got most in common with. Disappointed that you've not managed the Turnbull Ground yet, mind. ;)
