Will it ever become the norm to watch TV via an internet-enabled device rather than on a TV set?

The TV will still be king, but one day all TV will be delivered over fibre.

Has been in our house for 5 years. Don’t know why I bothered having an aerial put in, or internal wiring for same.

Ofcom is now starting consultation on the future of Freeview and it would seem likely that DVB-T will be phased out, or perhaps a single multiplex retained for some sort of public service broadcasting. For everything else, linear TV channels will come via IP or satellite (and the latter will likely be on borrowed time too).
