Hi,
I am based in Glasgow and planning to explore the North-West of England using a Freedom of the North West rover. Rather than find a hotel somewhere I have decided to simply travel to/from Glasgow every day I use the rover. Here is my question:
Assuming I already have the rover, if I travel on a Virgin service between GLC and EUS, with an Advance ticket from Glasgow to Carlisle, would I be allowed to remain on the same train until Preston, or another station covered by the rover?
I seem to remember reading somewhere a while ago, that you can do this providing the station where your tickets change is a booked calling point for the train you are on, but wanted to double check before I actually make any travel plans.
Thanks.
