Never saw Scafell Pike myself - well done on tracking it down.
Likewise never got M55987. M55988/9/90 were regulars at Manchester Victoria, though.
Here's some spotting lists from forty yrars ago. It was Tinsley Open Day, hence the presence of the 03 and Deltic as guest exhibits. There was no Open Day at Shirebrook, but got most things there from the outside, whilst the few locos noted at Toton were on the way down the main drive seeking someone to request permission for a look round, which was not forthcoming!
