ThanksBelieve so.
Still there, 31 road with its pan upI think that’s right - on its own on the two high-level sidings at the London end, as of this Saturday just gone.
The Derby journeys are typically light loco moves for stabling between 365 drags (and other jobs). Doncaster is where the units are being stored. All odd-numbered units (with the exception of 365525 at Longsight) are stored at Crewe South Yard. 4 even-numbered units (365512, 365528, 365530 & 365538) are stored at Ely Papworth. The remaining even-numbered 365s are stored at Belmont Down Yard (Doncaster), except long-scrapped 365526, and 365510; 365510 will join the Belmont-stored fleet today.Apologies if I have missed it - have scrolled back through the thread and can't see what is happening with these units in recent posts. Can see current journeys to Derby and Doncaster. What is the significance of each location?
Thanks!!! Shame there doesn't seem to be an impending passenger use for these units, but the vogue does seem to be to order new ones now.The Derby journeys are typically light loco moves for stabling between 365 drags (and other jobs). I may be passing Crewe in a few weeks' time and still require 501, 505, & 513 for sight. Are they visible from the mainline?
It was. 37884 made it to Longsight and coupled to 365525, but was unable to leave Longsight because of an air leak.In other news, I noticed that 37884 was allocated to the now cancelled 5Q42 Longsight to Crewe South Yard this morning - was this going to be 525 heading back to Crewe?
I assume 365s are not route cleared via Huddersfield, the Hope Valley or the Calder Valley. That's hell of a route they have to take to get from Crewe in the North West to Doncaster in Yorkshire - all the way via London
Its the one south of Crewe South Jn between the WCML and Basford Hall Freightliner yardI'm not 100% sure where the South Yard is. Is it the sidings adjacent to the Coal Sidings used for the flasks?
You can see some from a train to Shrewsbury, on the left-hand side (forward facing), but they're pretty much completely hidden by trees from the WCML.Its the one south of Crewe South Jn between the WCML and Basford Hall Freightliner yard
I assumed it went via London so that it could do the move on its own power?I assume 365s are not route cleared via Huddersfield, the Hope Valley or the Calder Valley.
They were dragged by a loco from ROG.I assumed it went via London so that it could do the move on its own power?
What and where is ROG?They were dragged by a loco from ROG.
