Understood, thanks again
410 and 447 went for storage.Sadly, I finished work to late to see 409 and 447 go off for storage, I make it 23 non-prm units left in service or warm store, or alternating between the two
On my travels yesterday, I saw the following:
409 13.33 LST-SOV
421 13.47 LST - BTR
423 13.02 LST-IPS
333 13.05 CLT - LST
335 13.10 SOV-LST
336 13.30 SOV - LST
Then I had 406 18.05 CLT - LST
Red doomed 440+441 were together stabled at Clacton
406 and 409 are the last ex-FCC purple units
Non PRM units are the native Greater Anglia units that are non renatus. The ex Northern 321/322s are PRM compliant but aren’t renatus units. How can I easily identify a non-PRM unit without looking at the train numbers?
Are all non-Renatus units also non-PRM?
Renatus units have windows that don't open (i.e. no droplights at the top). They have a distinguished livery with a red stripe running along the length of each carriage. One of the driving coaches has a toilet; you can see the window externallyHow can I easily identify a non-PRM unit without looking at the train numbers?
Are all non-Renatus units also non-PRM?
Only 321406 321409There are also a couple of ex fcc units that are non prm still going about
YesThanks for your replies.
In summary, if it isn't Renatus and isn't in Northern blue, then it's a non-PRM unit.
the latter being paired to 322484 and probably so until it gets withdrawnOnly 321406 321409

Weird that the 322s have been the most nomadic of the 320/321/322 family and their Northern stablemates, the 321/9s were stuck on the same route for 30 years.Being from the north it is great to see the ex Northern units 321901-3 and 322481-5 getting so much work. In their last years with Northern with the exception of DON-LDS which required two units they only ever seemed to be seen on peak hour workings. At Stratford on Thursday I saw all except I think 322484 out in service.
Agree also the 3224 have done it all Stansted Express. East Anglia routes from liverpool Street.Weird that the 322s have been the most nomadic of the 320/321/322 family and their Northern stablemates, the 321/9s were stuck on the same route for 30 years.
Thanks for update.321340 is still on the buffers at clacton C.S.D. Thorpe le soken end since early October 2021.
However 321339. Has now taken the place from 321441.
In the middle yard next to the shed was 321337. All had pantographs up.
However a 720 was keeping it company alongside. Pity it wasn't the final few days for the 720.
Also 321324 with 321423 and 321901 was all attached together full view from sidings next to the platform.
So only possibly at least two or three maybe warm store.
However 321430 321424 321427 was active.
Also active was 321406. 321433 321421 321434 321336 321333 321338 321335 .quite a large step down from the past fortnight since I last visited.
However 11 units in service.
Don't forget since then around 5 diagrams have changed hands so about around about 16 units for 16 diagrams with some spares with around 22 left so it does tally.
Also around the side off ilford E.M.U.D Depot looking out cold is a unidentified non white prm to far to get number.
321342 was also active checked mobile phone it worked a am southend earlier on.Thanks for update.
Could it be any of 341/342/343?
