Only temporarily, whilst the coach is out for minor repair.

Coaches are regularly removed temporarily for repairs. It’s useful to be able to do so as it means should a fault be confined to a single carriage in most cases that carriage can be removed and the set run without it, unlike units where if one carriage is faulty the entire train has to be stopped.

I know that they're not actually LNER locos any longer but it may be of interest that Europhoenix 91117 & 91120 are scheduled to be moving from Leicester LIP to Barrow Hill LIP today on DCR hauled 1314 0Q91

Maybe rail operations group have them for something or the other. But what?

Definitely gone to Crewe, there are photos of them on the 225 group on Facebook showing them being dragged north through Stafford by 57310, with 37611 also on the rear dead in tow.

However thought that when Newport Docks Simms scrap yard closes at 1630 pm as per its website it cannot accept anything in into the rail terminus there. Unless stock for scrap can enter when it is closed.
However in the past they have usually entered when its been open.
