Passed my occupational health assessment yesterday! Ready to start on the 4th

They’ll let you know straight away if you wasn’t successful
Congrats on getting the job.
Another thing, you said they will let us know straight away if we weren’t successful. Is that like immediately on the day of the interview or like two days later?

Role play - they let you know on the day if successful then lead to SBI right away.

SBI - they don’t let you know on the day. This is when the anxious wait begins for the email to say if successful or not.
It seems there have been various times because have found out their result!

What did you have to do during the occupational health assessment?
Urine test first, to check for drugs and alcohol and then after is a sight and hearing test, sight test is standard read from the board, hearing test is you sit in a booth and push a button when you hear a sound and let go when you don’t hear it anymore. After that you have a chat with a seperate doctor where you talk about any health issues you might have and how you’re doing overall

Congrats on getting the job.

I see two contradicted statements here that,

We’d be informed straight away if we had not cleared SBI,

Another statement says, in 2-3 days we’d be informed of result if we had failed.

Can someone please clarify which is true?

I am okay to wait but just concerned about the result. Can I be assured that I’d be clearing the SBI?

Hi everyone.

I applied yesterday for the CSA role and have been informed I have made it to the next stage, the online assessments. The email says these are "Mindgage + Dilemmas (Customer Service)", anyone tell me what I can expect? Anything online I can practice with before I take the real one?

You will be informed straight away if you don't pass the roleplay. Gotta wait 2 weeks for the SBI

I don’t remember everything in detail but first you will have a situational judgement test, then there were a couple of mazes like find the route, and some maths calculations. The maths one involves addition only and you have to arrange numbers based on their value. You just have to be a bit quick for that.

Please how can one get more ticket or the map you talked about to have a look before going there or any more tips I can get.

Hey, this thread also has 2024 applicants so some of us are waiting for the results.

AC1 (Assessment centre 1) is the stage after the online assessment where you have to go the centre. It tests written communication and data interpretation. In the written test, you will have to correct grammar. The data interpretation involved several tasks. One of them is checking if tickets are of the right zone, date and so on. Another task involved checking the train timetable and tube map to answer questions based on it. Questions can be such as finding the number of stations and time at which the train will arrive at the destination. Tube maps and other materials will be provided. They also explain in detail what to do.

I use a hearing aid in my left ear; does this stop me from getting a job? I'm not officially registered as disabled.

I Had my roleplay sometimes last week and i was not successful. I had a scenario of someone at the train station playing music and collecting money. He mentioned he was collecting money to get to pay for a valid ticket on the underground. I was friendly and empathetic as he is an old man. He also was vaping which i mentioned is prohibited on the underground.
However, at the end of the roleplay, i was told i was unsuccessful because buskers (people who play music for money at train stations) are illegal on the underground. Also if any buskers were to be allowed, they have to be licensed.
I never knew this LU policy nor have i ever heard about it. Before the role play, i was told i will not be assessed based on my knowledge of the policies of the TfL or the LU.
To my dismay, i was judged based on that.
It is really unfair.

Has anyone faced a similar experience please?

That was quite unfortunate, sorry you had that scenario.

I am not sure about whether you got a sheet before the role way conveying some of the rules. I had gotten one where it said busking should be given prior notice, have a license and something like that.

Haha the wait is worth all the stress. Haven't got a training date booked yet need to sort out my documents.

My SBI wasnt too hard just had to make sure I read it properly and took notes what about you?

Good luck with your results.
