Is Hatton to Lapworth still the cheapest gold card season ticket? Looks like it’s now £204 which beats the few other Ryde & Lichfield possibilities of past years.

Does this mean as recently as 2022 (or maybe 2021) there were still some fares available for under a pound? I seem to remember there were a few in the mid-2010s, possibly some of the examples above, but I’m not sure how gradually they increased in price after that.

This also goes for anyone who sees the headline and assumes the imminent strikes from tomorrow are off, which will give them a nasty surprise in the days ahead.

Thanks, that's fair enough as it was always a nice unofficial bonus. 62 minutes still avoids the annoyance of being a couple of seconds too late if you're in a queue to board.

Has the TFL hopper fare time been reduced? I touched in on a second bus 65 minutes after the first and was charged a second £1.55, even though it's normally 70 minutes. I've seen one tweet suggesting the time has been cut to 62 minutes, but nothing official.

£15 London to Edinburgh all through the Fringe Festival, which is a brilliant deal for this time of year even if it is the slower West Coast service. No railcard discounts but still cheaper than most remaining railcard fares for that month.
