Had my first ride on one of these today - sat in one of the window bays with the mini table. I found it the build out of the window pillars tight on the shoulder - which pushed me into the seat space next to me.
Don’t think it would be at all comfortable sitting there with another passenger sat...
I’m not sure it’s as simple as that - what’s happening right now is that you need a 10-car / 12-car railway on a couple of days of the week and than a 5/8 car railway on some others. There just isn’t the rolling stock to provide an all 10-car service on all services on the Windsor side during...

Also worth noting that Category 2 stations (and below) will not be able to sell all ticket types, instead encouraging you to buy online or travel to your nearest Category 1 station (with some kind of cost reimbursement for the journey).
Doesn’t reimburse the time/effort though.
All these staff...
701014 just went past me leaving Clapham Yard (destination unknown), looked like a bunch of SWR bods in the cab (could see the name badges).
Can confirm that the two on the Windsor side of the yard are cut in all the time now (marker lights are a bit pathetic in daytime though!).
Delay Repay is just a recipe for frustration most of the time - any excuse they can find to knock a claim back, they will use it.
Yes, you can get a token amount back once you satisfy their vexatious requests, however the cost of the time to get each claim complete makes it not worth the while...
