Lothian Group discussion (Lothian City, Lothian Country Bus and East Coast Buses)

70 and 71 run 7 days a week, and changes occur on a Sunday. I'm not 100% but are the limits on these routes no more than 40? May be worth putting faster vehicles on routes with higher limits.

Thank you for confirming. Eve Coaches page has now been added to the website. The relevant network maps have also been updated. Edit: and just now, the main Eve Coaches page has also been updated. 670 has moved to Central now.

As thought.. but contradicts what was said by a Longstone driver a few days ago!

929 has already moved to Lothian Country with 930 to follow.

My friend who speaks with a Longstone driver has said that some/all drivers on the 44 will also now drive the 36 and possibly 32 (the shift sheets were handed out today I believe). Is this the start of the phasing out of single decker rotas? Or will routes like the 36 now have a mix of both...

This has now been confirmed. Parked in green outside at Longstone. Repainted in house.

For clarity, this is demonstrator bus 997.

    McGill’s Midland Bluebird

This is how the services have looked for the last few weeks. The 68 has had no buses on it at all this week!

They accidentally linked 1043s trip to 1063. It was never on the X40. Remember the following:

498/9 are the ones with the Loganair adverts. They replaced the long time Lothian Motorcoaches ones. Would I be right in saying that the longest deadrun at the moment is Whitburn to Edinburgh between trips on the N18 at weekends?

I believe its moving to Lothian Country. 1152 is already back out to cover it for the time being. With 997 back I would expect some more movements within the next few days. 1719267184 Thank you. I noticed the second feed had been reinstated to all buses in the fleet last week and it made a mess...

Maintenance run/circuit. Just for the avoidance of doubt, bus 1150 is currently tracking as both that and 1050. 1050 is still at Seafield being prepared for repaint. I don't know how the tracking works, but I believe there are currently two feeds - one is the AVL, and one is another feed which...

The same happened with 415 last year. What looks like some minor damage but ended up being off the road for months. Must be something to do with the internals.

We'll see. You'd think they'd have already taken the required ones off the road for this change in livery then though. You've got 510 still away for repair but I don't think it'll be repainted while its there.

I would consider the already existing service 31. Your service feels very much like a rearranged version of it.

Lothian Group discussion (Lothian City, Lothian Country Bus and East Coast Buses)

I would suggest there is no truth to this. Skylink can't afford to lose anything, and the other routes at Longstone can't afford to lose anything for use on Skylink routes instead. The PVR is increasing by one, which should be doable as the existing PVR is 9 and there are 13 XLBs. Airlink are...

Good stuff. Hopefully they'll be moved under their own section in due course.

I count 18. This number does include deckers away for repair and repaint. Excluding these, the buses are 354, 363, 427, 641, 667, 997, 1104, 1116, 1124, 1126, 1130, 1145, 1151 and 1153. Bus 1050 is at Seafield, quite possibly for repaint. May well be moving to Lothian Country.

A maroon bus will be a regular on the 400 at present because 510 is still away for a repair. Generally its one of 496/7 but its not irregular for an Enviro 400 to show up as well.
