Looking at the 07:42 Guildford to Vauxhall on a weekday. As it starts in Guildford, I guess it's very easy to get a seat? How reliable is that service? Returning on the 17:37, would I get a seat at Vauxhall, or would I need to go up to Waterloo?

Unfortunately GTR has announced there will be no trains to Brighton. I have a commitment at the festival so looking for alternatives. Unfortunately there's no National Express coaches that day. So I could get the train to Three Bridges and local buses from there maybe?
